Carbery 650R Combi R Rectangular Slimline 650 litres Single Skin Oil Tank
Carbery’s 611 litres capacity 650R Single Skin Slimline Tank is a popular choice at smaller domestic heating oil storage applications, at the small numbers of premises where a Bunded Tank is not required. Purpose designed for the storage of Heating Oil, as you’d expect of a Carbery tank, the 650R is OFCERT licensed and is EN 13341 compliant.

Suitability
Carbery Single Skin Oil Storage Tanks are approved for the storage of Agricultural Fuel Oil, Diesel (DERV), Heating Oil, Kerosene and Paraffin, when connected to a fixed, combustion appliance e.g. oil-fired boiler, cooker etc. at premises where a Bunded Tank is not required.
An Environmental Risk Assessment must be satisfactorily completed prior to installation of any Single Skin Tank.
Please note Carbery Single Skin Oil Tanks are unsuitable for use with gravity fed, fuel delivery kits, incorporating a flexible hose and trigger nozzle.

General Information
All products must be installed and maintained in accordance with supplied instructions and prevailing statutory requirements. Failure to comply with these requirements will invalidate any warranty supplied. Additionally:

Fuel Oil Storage Tanks All static fuel oil storage tanks must be installed and maintained by a suitably competent person e.g. a technician registered with the Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC);

Single Skin Heating Oil Tanks Single Skin Tanks are suitable only for the storage of Heating Oil at premises where a Bunded Tank is not required, or for installation within a suitably bunded area. Before installing any Single Skin Heating Oil Tank, a risk assessment must be completed by a suitably competent person e.g. a technician registered with the Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC);

Underground Heating Oil Tanks Before installing any Underground Heating Oil Tank, guidance must first be sought from your local Building Control Department. In some areas, it is not permissible to install a Heating Oil Tank belowground. Please note Aboveground Single Skin and Bunded Storage Tanks are unsuitable for belowground installation;

Plastic Storage Tanks All plastic storage tanks must be placed upon a flat, level, base which supports the underside of the tank in its entirety and extends a minimum of 300mm beyond the widest points of the tank. The base must be constructed from fire resistant materials and be capable of supporting the weight of the tank and its contents when fully laden;

Non-Potable Water Tanks Non-Potable Water Tanks are unsuitable for connection to the public water supply and the storage of water intended for human consumption.
Electrical Safety
Where applicable, all mains (230v AC) electrical connections should only be completed and periodically inspected by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with prevailing statutory requirements. Mains electrical connections must incorporate a Residual Current Device (RCD) or similar protection to protect against the risk of electric shock.

Damaged and Defective Products
We work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure all our deliveries arrive with you in tip-top condition. However, very occasionally things can and sometimes do go wrong. If you receive a product you’re not happy with, please contact us as soon as possible.
Unwanted Products
We recognise that sometimes we all order products and then change our mind. So you can contact us within 14 days of receiving your completed order to let us know you wish to return any product we have supplied to you. The only exceptions are bespoke and made-to-order products. Thereafter, you have a further 14 days to return unwanted product to us. All returned items must be unused, undamaged and suitable for resale. We recommend you ensure returned items are adequately protected by insurance. Subject to returned products being undamaged and fit for resale, we will refund your purchase price within 5 working days of returned product(s) being received by us.
Please be aware that larger items (e.g. tanks) can be expensive, difficult and awkward to return. We recommend taking care to ensure you have ordered the correct product. If you’re unsure as to whether you’re ordering the correct product, you’re very welcome to contact our Customer Support Team, before placing your order.
